Snowboard: Seppe Smits triumphed in Antwerp On 10th November, the show was happening in Belgium’s Antwerp, when 22-year-old Seppe Smits secured his first ever World Cup win and in his hometown. The main actor of the evening who also played a major role in the development of the largest ramp ever used in a big air World Cup, fulfilled his dream with a winning score of 183.25 points. In front of some 10,000 excited fans who had taken over the area at Waagnatie harbour and filled the streets next to the venue site, Clemens Schattschneider (AUT, 181.50) and Patrick Burgener (SUI, 180) completed the podium as second and third respectively. |
