FIS Staff Update FIS would like to welcome Yu Zhang (Kim) (CHN, 30) who has taken on the role as World Snow Day Project Assistant together with Andrew Cholinsky since 1st October. Kim’s internship assignment is part of his studies for a Master’s in Advanced Studies in Sports Administration and Technology (MSA) at the International Academy of Sports Science and Technology (AISTS) in Lausanne where he will graduate in December 2011. A native of Harbin City, Heilongijang Province, Kim holds a Bachelor degree in English Literature and Linguistics & Minor in Finance and International Trade from the Heilongijang University in China. A keen skier and skater, he worked in the Organizing Committee for the 24th Winter Universade in Harbin as well as in the Sports Administration of Heilongjiang Province as Chief of Foreign Affairs. Kim will be joining FIS until the end of February 2012. In addition to Chinese, Kim speaks English as well as some German, French and Russian. |
