Nepal elects leadership
The Nepalese Ski Association held its Elective General Assembly at Kakani hillside on 7th January 2012. The meeting was inaugurated by the Minister of Youth and Sports Gopi Achhami and the Election Commission unanimously elected the association's executive committee. Jeevan Ram Shrestha was elected President whilst the four vice presidents are Raju Babu Shrestha, Shambu Lama, Raja Shakya and Ishori Poudel. Pasang Sherpa will serve as Secretary General.
