2018 Games inspection visits underway
International Olympic Committee (IOC) inspectors arrived in PyeongChang on Monday to continue their tour of the candidate cities in the race to host the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
Having moved on from Annecy in France where the first official visit took place last week, the IOC will carry out an inspection of the South Korea city's facilities before heading to Munich in Germany first week in March.
Gunilla Lindberg of Sweden is leading the 14-person IOC delegation that will write a report on the three bids to be issued in May, ahead of a technical briefing by the bids for all IOC members in Lausanne. The IOC vote for 2018 takes place at the session in Durban 6th July.
