AIPS Congress coincides with Innsbruck 2012
The 75th Anniversary AIPS Congress to be held in the Winter Youth Olympic venues of Innsbruck and Seefeld, Austria, from 12th-16th January 2012 will see representatives of around 100 national associations participate.
President of the AIPS, International Sports Press Association, Gianni Merlo has hailed this congress as an important event in the context of very first Winter Youth Olympic Games and says that the whole of AIPS supports the initiative of the IOC and believes the Games will be successful.
"In Singapore we have seen the potential of this youth-focused competition. In Innsbruck it will be a little more complicated but we are optimists and we believe the result will be great," Merlo said.
