“Summer Time for Winter Athletes”
How are FIS athletes spending their time in the off season? For some sportsmen, such as Ski jumpers, a series of summer competitions leads to an early season start, but others have different programs with training off and on the snow in the Northern and/or Southern Hemispheres.
From this week on, FIS Newsflash will be running its series “Summer Time for Winter Athletes”, interviewing ski stars, young guns and newcomers from the six FIS Olympic disciplines.
In this week’s edition US Cross-Country racer and FIS Athletes’ Commission member Kikkan Randall unveils her preferences for summer training, favorite musicians and visions for next season.
