Hanna Seppas from Sweden and Italy's Simone Paredi are currently in the lead of the overall Roller Skiing World Cup rankings.

Seppas has already collected 269 points including one victory. The current runner-up on the ladies side is Guro Stroem Solli from Norway, just 25 points behind and in third place is Evgenia Baliuk from Russia.

The men's competition is dominated by Simone Paredi who has a comfortable 62-point lead ahead of his countryman Sergio Bonaldi. Alexander Denisov (RUS) is currently ranked 3rd.

Bad Peterstal-Griesbach in Germany is the venue for the next competition from 22nd-24th July. For the second time in a row, Bad Peterstal-Griesbach, situated in the Black Forest region, will host the FIS Roller Skiing World Cup and will provide excellent conditions for two uphill competitions, one in classical technique and one in free technique, as well as a sprint event. Some 96 athletes from 10 nations have so far announced their intention to take on the challenge in the Black Forest mountains.

The weekend in Bad Peterstal-Griesbach will be the last World Cup competitions before the season highlight: The 2011 FIS Roller Skiing World Championships in Aure/Kristiansund, Norway which will take place from 9th-13th August.
