After getting turned on to ski cross it 2003, it wasn't long before Ophelie David became one the sports greatest stars. With three quick World Cup overall globes and a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships, the Alpe d'Huez native went on to win the 2007 FIS World Championship title to solidify her place as one of the toughest competitors in the sport.
Her domination on the ski cross tour has continued through the past five seasons. In 2011-12 she showed no signs of slowing down, returning from more than a month off due to injury to rack up three podiums in the last four races of the season and just narrowly miss out on claiming the women's ski cross Crystal Globe.
With 47 career podiums and 24 wins, David may already hold the title of the greatest women's ski cross racer of all time.
