After a disappointing 35th place finish at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, Swiss skier Sanna Luedi appeared to have found her groove in the 2011-12 World Cup SX season. In the middle of the campaign she put together back-to-back wins in Alpe D'Heuz and Les Contamines - to go with two 2nd place finishes earned earlier in 2011/12 - and appeared to be cruising towards the women's overall ski cross title. However, she went on to suffer a dislocated shoulder in the 2012 X-Games and missed the rest of the year in the wake of the injury.
Luedi has returned for the 2012-13 season and is ready for competition. She placed 18th at Nakiska, CAN, in her first race back.
