In the halfpipe, Sandy Marti and Nils Lauper took home the Gold.

Lauper earned his win right in the first run of the finals with a double flair tail grab to left side 1080, right side switch flat 540 and left side switch 540 thus relegating Junior World Champion Joel Gisler and Fabian Meyer to second and third.

“I'm super happy”, Lauper, a team veteran, said. “Ten years ago, I became the Swiss Halfpipe Champion in Davos. Today I came to Corvatsch to take back the title.”

One day later, the slopestyle event went down with Camillia Berra and Luca Schuler coming out victorious.

2014 Olympian Berra won ahead of Marti and Vivine Günensperger while Schuler, the youngest Sochi competitor, edged off Jonas Hunziker and Till Matti to second and third respectively.

“The win means a lot to me”, Schuler explained. “I have dreamed of this quite a while.”
