Giulia Tanno and Jonas Hunziker have come out victorious of a 80 skier field which came together under a blue bird sky at Corvatsch to find out who will be the 2016 Swiss slopestyle national champion.

Tanno kept hold to her title impressing the judges with her second run consisting of a right 540 safety, switch leftside 900, leftside 360 mute and a front 2 out over the rails.

“What a cool day – we had fantastic conditions. I'm very happy that I was able to defend my national title,” the skier from Lenzerheide said.

Mathilde Gremaud and Tanja Gmuer rounded out the podium as respective second and third.

The men's competition did also see some stylish runs and great air time with Jonas Hunziker standing out the most with his trick variety and amplitude bringing home his career's second title since 2012.

Behind Hunziker, Colin Wili earned silver while 18-year-old coming talent Luca Schuler claimed bronze.
