One day after the Swiss slopestyle nationals took place in Sils, Giulia Tanno and Luca Schuler claimed gold in the big air event staged at Corvatsch.

Tanno, who had already prevailed in the slopestyle event claimed her second gold with a left 5 mute ahead of Tanja Gmuer and Vivine Guentensberger.

In the men's event, 18-year-old up-and-coming talent Luca Schuler impressed the judges with a switch leftside double bio 14 and a leftside double cork 14 safety therefore landing where he was two years ago – on top of the Swiss national podium.

“I'm happy that I'm the Swiss champion again. It's a great end to the season,” stated Schuler.

Colin Wili and slopestyle champion Jonas Hunziker rounded out the podium as second and third, respectively.
