Dubbed by some as the "Superbowl of Freestyle," the annual moguls, dual-moguls, and aerials events held at Deer Valley's Olympic-caliber venues are an undeniable highlight of the freestyle World Cup schedule. Some of the biggest crowds of the season will be on hand for four days of concerts, fireworks, and fantastic skiing, as Deer Valley prides itself on putting on one of the most exicting events of the year.
Deer Valley, Utah was the site of the moguls and aerials competitions during the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games. As a result, Deer Valley's on-hill facilities are second-to-none, and are set in a resort atmosphere consistently recognized as one of the best in North America. With it's combination of enthusiastic fans, top-notch competition, and world-class amenities, the Deer Valley event is one not to be missed.
In the two weeks leading up to the start of the 2014/15 FIS Freestyle World Cup we will be running season previews for all five Freestyle events, beginning today with the aerials preview.
