Challenging weather conditions in the alpine resorts meant that this week's Ski X event at Hotham Alpine Resort was postponed to today only with two final runs held for each category.

In the men's division, the dual champion spots were taken out by Anton Grimus from Mt Buller and Jamie Prebble from Mt Hutt, New Zealand.

Leading females Sami Kennedy-Sim from Perisher and Ysabel Cronin-Guss from Mt Buller took on the tough conditions to come out in front.

A small field contested the event, representing Australia and NZ. This was the first event in the Suzuki National Snowsport Championship program.
