Marielle Thompson and Tristan Tafel have finished their season with a win at the Canadian Ski Cross Championships which took place in Sunshine Village April 11.

The Olympic Champion kept hold to an incredible streak at the ski resort in B.C. where she not only won the National title but also the last two races of the Nor-Am Cup tour.

The 21-year-old thus finished off her winter like she had began it at the World Cup opener in Nakiska back in December 2013: right on top of the podium.

The 2014 Ski Cross World Cup winner relegated Georgia Simmerling and India Sherret to the second and third rank and thus earned her career's fourth national title in a row.

On the men's side of things Tafel, the 2012 Canadian Champion, took home his career's second ahead of Matt Brady and Kevin McDonald ending the 2014 winter with his first win of the season.
