Dong-Bin Shin

Dong-Bin Shin (KOR) was elected to the FIS Council at the 50th FIS Congress in Cancun.

He first started skiing at the age of six and later became an alpine racer in college. Mr. Shin became President of the Korean Ski Association in November 2014. Furthermore he is a member of the 2018 PyeongChang Organising Committee Governing Board.

Mr. Shin holds a successful career in business, serving as president of LOTTE group, the fifth-largest multinational company in South Korea. LOTTE served as sponsor for the 2015/16 FIS World Cups in Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard in South Korea and it will continue to sponsor eleven FIS World Cups there in the 2017/18 winter. Furthermore, LOTTE serves as official sponsor for the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games.

Dong-Bin Shin enjoys Alpine Skiing in winter and recently started learning Cross-Country Skiing.
