FIS Corporate Identity

The Statutes of FIS state under art. §1.5, that „the FIS reserves all rights for the use and the disposal of its logograms. The International Ski Federation has the strong will to use this impact to create and maintain a unique brand to promote ski sports to the furthest extent possible."

The logograms FIS logo ('new logo'), FIS emblem ('logo 1924'), FIS snowflake ('flocon') as well as the abbreviation ‘FIS’ and the name ‚Fédération Internationale de Ski‘ with its translations are protected as trademarks.

The FIS Brand Book forms the basis for those implementing the FIS trademarks in their corporate or organisational communications. To ensure consistency for writing and editing, FIS compiled an editorial Style Guide of essential terms, spellings and definitions.
