Barcelona -

In just a few weeks, the international FIS family will travel to Spain for the 49th International Ski Congress from 1st-7th June 2014.

Transfers to and from Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I should be made by official taxi located directly outside each of the arrival terminals. In normal traffic conditions the journey will take a mere 10 minutes and should cost no more than EUR 25. Due to the short distance to the hotel it would take much longer for participants to wait to load onto a transfer bus, as well as being more expensive.

There will be two FIS Congress transportation desks located in the baggage claim area of the two terminals of Barcelona El-Prat Airport. Participants are advised to make their way to the transportation desks in case of any difficulties.

A further information letter for the FIS Congress participants containing practical details will be sent out in the coming week.

For any inquiries upon arrival and for signing up for the Congress Excursion and Gala Dinner on 5th and 6th June, respectively, participants should visit the FIS Travel Service Office at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I.
