Australia's mogul skiing star Dale Begg-Smith has continued his sparkling form, claiming a win in the first and a second place in the second of two World Cup events in Deer Valley, Utah (USA). Begg-Smith has decided to donate the prize money he received in Day 2 in Deer Valley to the Haitian relief effort.

"I'm glad to be able to make this donation to the Haitian relief effort," Begg-Smith said. "The devastation and trauma that these people have endured is horrific."

"Hopefully we can collectively band together as a society to help in the recovery efforts."

The Torino 2006 Olympic champion joins a growing band of sportspeople who are setting a laudable example by making a contribution to ease the suffering of the Haitian people and assist the rebuilding of their country.
