The best riders of the qualifiers which actually started at 8 AM were coming from the US and France.

The men's qualifier was won by Thomas Krief who killed it in his first run with his air time and set of technical tricks.

“Toto” started things off on the right site with a 900 reverse mute to left double cork 1260, alley oop rodeo 360 japan, switch 720 mute to a final alley oop rodeo 540 shifty and was rewarded with a total score of 88 out of a possible 100.
