For the first time in its history, the Audi Sport TT Cup appears in the Netherlands. As part of the DTM support programme, the Cup will stage two races on 16th and 17th July 2016 around the legendary Zandvoort track.

In the guest starter classification, the Dutch Prince Bernhard van Oranje will participate in his home race. The 46-year old royal is the second son of Pieter van Vollenhoven and Margriet van Oranje-Nassau, the Princess of the Netherlands. He will be challenged by Audi FIS Ski World Cup stars Adrien Théaux (FRA) and Peter Fill (ITA) who will switch skis for race cars.

Last year, Alpine aces Felix Neureuther (GER), Marcel Hirscher (AUT) and Aksel Lund Svindal (NOR) were on the grid in the Audi Sport TT Cup in Spielberg (AUT) where they contested a challenge of their own in the field of 24 drivers. It was Marcel Hirscher who was the fastest of the three skiers.

Both races from Zandvoort will be broadcast live on as well as via the SmartTV App ‘Audi MediaTV’.
