FIS Development Programme Nordic Training Camp in Val di Fiemme
The FIS Development Programme Nordic Winter Camp for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined was successfully held in Val di Fiemme (ITA) from 6th- 16th January 2014.
20 athletes from eight nations born between 1994 and 1998 participated in the camp which included both sporting and social components uniting young athletes from developing National Ski Associations.
Led by eleven coaches, the activities included two daily training sessions of jumping, alongside waxing seminars, gym sessions, test races, warm-ups and technical exercises for Ski Jumping, and cross-country activities for Nordic Combined.
Under the framework of the FIS Development Programme, the training camp was organised and co-ordinated by Sandro Pertile (ITA) in collaboration with the FIS Office.
Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Romania and Slovakia had participants at the camp.
