In 130 days, the FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships in Kreischberg/Lachtal (AUT) will get underway. The interest shown in this exceptional sporting event is large, primarily in the region itself where ticket sales are strong. "There is great anticipation for the so-called young and new disciplines, yet, supporters of the alpine snowboard events have also purchased many tickets for the competitions taking place at Lachtal", Hello Haas, Head of the Organising Committee said.

Preparations for the World Championships are in full swing and the to-do list is getting shorter each week. The official World Championship song will be launched in the coming weeks and another significant item has just gone live: accreditation applications

The accreditation form may be accessed at for journalists, photographers, as well as teams, volunteers and officials. The process will close on 15th November 2014.

Approximately 300 journalists are expected to attend the 24 medal decisions in eleven competitions days between 15th - 25th January 2015. One of the new events will be a medal event in ladies’ big air.

In order to allow fast information, photo and video processing, a high-performance internet connection has been installed, featuring the latest standards. The media centre, in close distance to the finish area will serve as a comfortable workplace for the many journalists and photographers.
