The countdown is on. In less than 300 days, the FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships 2015 will get underway at Kreischberg and Lachtal Ski Resort (AUT).

Currently, preparations for the first ever combined Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships from 16th-25th January 2015 are in full swing, the schedule is set and tickets will go on sale before the start of the summer.

Hello Haas, Head of the Organising Committee has stated that the Organisation is fully on schedule and complimented the fruitful cooperation with both local clubs "Kreisch Indios" and "USV Kreischberg".

Preparations are also going well from a sports perspective: The test events, which took place during the 2013/14 season, met all expectations. "The ski cross and snowboard slopestyle World Cups in January and March attracted a great audience and also the FIS Europa Cup in ski slopestyle in March has provided a first taste of what is going to happen in January 2015", Haas said.

Furthermore, also the FIS Snowboard Europa Cup races in PSL held in Lachtal just before Christmas have demonstrated that the Organisers are ready for this major event both from a sporting and organisational perspective.

In the upcoming months, various PR activities and campaigns are planned, including the release of the official World Championship song to inspire all fans and supporters for one of the major highlights of next season.
