FIS Marketing AG is a joint venture between the International Ski Federation together with its marketing partners Tridem Sports and Infront Sports & Media. The company was established in 2009 with the objective to enhance the value of FIS marketing rights and to develop successful sponsorship projects. Based in Freienbach, Switzerland FIS Marketing AG is structured as an independent and separately staffed entity. The main fields of activity are the handling and implementation of FIS controlled marketing rights as well as event and marketing services to all FIS Partners.
Initial project of FIS Marketing AG was to develop a completely revised marketing concept for the FIS Cross-Country World Cup, which was successfully introduced in the 2010/2011 season. Ever since, the number of projects has grown steadily and today the rights portfolio of FIS Marketing AG includes the title sponsorship package of the Alpine and Ski Cross World Cup, as well as presenting, central and data sponsor packages across the Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined World Cups. Currently, FIS Marketing AG has 8 permanent employees and works together with several freelancers during the winter months.
