New online tool available for Organisers of FIS Alpine events
A new tool for Organisers of FIS Alpine Skiing events of all categories has been developed by FIS IT. Organising Committees can now fill in all race-related information electronically themselves, including inspection and official starting times, place and time of the Team Captains Meetings and public draws.
The initiative is a response to the growing demand by the FIS Sub-Committee for Classification of Alpine Competitions, as well as teams and coaches to provide a one-stop shop for all race-related information, which can be constantly updated.
The tool allows Organisers to make modifications at any time and is synchronized with the FIS website, where all information is accessible for the public.
To access the online document, Organisers should click here and go to “Event Details” of the location concerned. After applying, they will be sent a one-time code valid for one hour to the email address listed for the event.
Following feedback from the Organisers of FIS Alpine races, the tool will also be developed for the other FIS disciplines.
