Today's psl qualifiers for the sixth parallel race of the season held in Bad Gastein produced some very interesting results.

While Claudia Riegler (AUT) and Benjamin Karl (AUT) underlined their PSL strength qualifying first, there were some big names missing in the top-16 which proceed to today's finals kicking off at 12:30 PM on Bucheben slope – all live on ORF Sport+!

Whilst on the women's side, 2010 Olympic runner-up Ekaterina Ilyukhina (RUS) had to strike her colors just like reigning PSL and PGS World Champions Hilde-Katrine Engeli (NOR) and Alena Zaverzina (RUS), the top two ranked male riders of the last PSL held at JAUerling two days ago didn't make it on the men's side.

Andreas Prommegger (AUT), winner in Lower Austria as well as JAUerling runner-up Andrey Sobolev were to slow. Also out due to a big mistake in the elimination run was Simon Schoch (SUI).

In addition, two Canadians played a curious role in the qualifiers. Matthew Morison and 2010 Olympic Champion Jasey Jay Anderson got disqualified for riding down the course with the wrong numbers.
