With the countdown clock ticking towards the start of the Olympic Winter Games 2018, FIS relives the most memorable sport moments from the 2014 Olympics in Sochi (RUS).

In the moguls competition, Alex Bilodeau of Canada became the first Freestyle Skiing athlete to successfully defend a gold medal, besting teammate Mikael Kingsbury.

Bilodeau credited his gold to his disabled brother Frederic, his ultimate inspiration and motivator, with whom he celebrated in the finish area.

The gold-silver performance of Bilodeau and Kingsbury was the second for Canada, as the sister act Justine and Chloe Dufour-Lapointe achieved the feat in the ladies' event just a few days before.

For the first time, a single nation had taken the top two spots in both the ladies’ and men's events at an Olympics since France in 1992.
