Spring Meetings of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined ahead in Zurich
The coming weekend will see the traditional spring meetings of the different FIS Sub-Committees in the disciplines of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined to be held at Hilton Hotel Zurich Airport (SUI).
On 11th-12th April, the different Sub-Committees will evaluate the past season and plan the coming 2014/15 winter. Among the Committees meeting are the Nordic Combined Executive Board, the Sub-Committees for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Youth & Children’s Questions, Jumping Hills, Nordic Combined Officials, Rules & Control, Ski Jumping Calendar Planning, Equipment & Control, as well as the Ski Jumping Coordination Group.
The variety of topics on the agenda include the presentation of competition calendars for the 2014/15 and future seasons, as well as detailed discussions about rules, formats and equipment which usually result in a set of proposals.
All proposals will then be submitted to the National Ski Associations, before the Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Committees review them to submit to the FIS Council.
