The Swedish Freestyle Ski Team goes "Down Under" to Australia for a 15 days long training camp.

5 hours south of Sydney is where you'll find the Swedish Freestyle Ski Team the coming weeks. As part of the training for the coming World Cup season, they had to choose between Australia and Argentina.

"The snow conditions are great in Australia right now" Team Captain, Tomas Carlqvist says. "Its one of the best seasons in Perisher in many years, and we hear the moguls piste is supposed to be really good. In addition, several other National teams will be there training at the same time as us".

During summer, the Swedish Freestyle Ski Team has trained on new jumps on trampoline, on a water ramp in Are and on Norwegian snow at Folgefonna.

"We will practice our new jumps and test the moguls piste during the 15 days we've planned in Australia. Focus on technical aspects related to skiing will also be worked on" Carlqvist says.

The Swedish Freestyle Ski Team is back in the middle of September.
