Maxime Laheurte debuted in the World Cup in Sapporo in 2005 and has been a fixture in the World Cup circus ever since. The Frenchman from Gerardmer achieved two podium places in 2006 and has been on the French team for the World Championships and Olympic Games from 2007 onwards until now. His strenghts lie is the ski jumping part most of the time and Maxime even was able to test his jumping skills on the ski flying hill in Planica where he could push his personal best to 212 metres.
Maxime, whose motto is "No fear", likes to go alpine skiing when he's not training or competing in Nordic Combined
