Rehrl had his first start on the World Cup level as early as 2011 in Ramsau am Dachstein and collected first points far away from home in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2013. After starting in Continental Cup for a while, Rehrl came to the World Cup team in spring 2016 has has been there to stay. In the winter of 2016/17, he established himself firmly on the top level and took three Top Ten ranks, as well as a first victory in a jumping part.
