Terence Weber had big shoes to fill as the young German comes from the same town and starts for the same club as Nordic Combined super star Eric Frenzel. But when Weber had his first start in the World Cup in Lillehammer in 2015, he showed talent and dedication to match the big dominator of his sport. Within one year, Weber developed into a World Cup regular, steadily gaining World Cup points, giving him a 30th position in the overall ranking after his first full season.
Very similar to Frenzel's customary quiet and modest character, Weber was outshone by fellow fast-developing rookie Vinzenz Geiger but actually has a bigger medal collection from the FIS Junior World Championships to show for with three team silvers from Val di Fiemme, Almaty and and Rasnov, as well as an individual bronze and silver medal.
