It was windy in Høydalsmo this Saturday with difficult conditions both in the cross-country and also in the hill. Harald Lemmerer from Austria managed best in these conditions and won today's COC-competition. The 21-year-old from Austria came in only 1,5 seconds ahead of Ole Martin Storlien from Norway and Michael Dünkel from Germany.

"It was a hard fight through the hole race, but I had a good feeling through competition", Harald Lemmerer said." In windy conditions in the hill, Lemmerer had finished as an intermediate number five after the jumping part with a jump on 89,5 meter.

Thomas Kjelbotn from Norway had the longest jump of the day. With 101,5 meters he beat the hill record with 3,5 meters, but unfortunately he fell an injured his knee. Johannes Wasel from Germany fell in the hill, too, after a very good jump on 95,5 meter. Michael Dünkel and Ole Martin Storlien were ranking as number one and two in the hill, but in the cross-country race, the Austrian was clearly the best.

"I`m in good shape, and very satisfied with the jump", runner-up and local hero Ole Martin Storlien stated. "But in the cross-country, Harald was the best. I can only to congratulate him". In the race, Michael Dünkel had started out 12 seconds ahead of Storlien and 20 seconds ahead of Lemmerer. But after only three kilometer of the race, the three skied together as a leading group. Dünkel still was satisfied with his performance and his thirs rank today: "It`s a new experience for me to win in the hill, and be the one in the lead for the cross-country race. So, I`m very happy to finish third in the end".
