The Estonian Ski Jumpers and Nordic Combined athletes started their seasons with a sponsor and partner meeting where past achievements were recognised and predictions for the upcoming winter made before it is off to a training camp in Finland for the Estonian athletes. The brothers Piho who live and train in Trondheim since this spring are bound to leave for Sweden for a training camp in the next few days.

The teams for the first competitions were also announced. For the first weekend in Ruka, Kristjan Ilves and Karl August Tiirmaa will be starting for the Estonian team before Kail and Han Hendrik Piho take over for the second World Cup weekend in Lillehammer. All four athletes are set to represent Estonia in Ramsau am Dachstein shortly before Christmas.
