Japanese team back home after satisfactory Europe-camp

After spending time in Europe to train in Ramsau, Oberhof and Oberstdorf, the Japanese team has returned home to spend some more time near their families before the will return for the Summer Grand Prix on the 20th of August. In a last test race in Oberstdorf, Yoshito Watabe took the top spot before his brother Akito and Yusuke Minato

"We were able to have a good camp in a great environment and were extremely blessed with the weather", the team writes on their website. After jumping session in Ramsau and Oberstdorf and a lot of time spent training on snow in the ski tunnel in Oberhof, the Japanese athletes will now continue with some individual training.

July, 26th: Asahi Summer Games

July, 28th: Nayoro Summer Jump competition

August 3 & 4: Sapporo Mayor's Cup tour (Miyanomori & Okurayama)

"Everybody in Hokkaido who has the time, please come and support us at the competitions! As the hot weather seems to have followed us to Japan, this is a great opportunity to spend some days outside!"
