Austria’s Lisa Eder continues to write Nordic Combined history! After her victory in the younger girls’ category at the FIS Youth Cup in Trondheim in March, the 14-year-old has taken the victory in the first-ever Ladies’ Nordic Combined event in the Alpencup.

Occupying a sixth rank out of 13 starters after the jumping event, Eder had to make up about 40 seconds on her teammate Julia Huber on the 2.5 kilometre running track. In temperatures of over 30°C, Eder finally beat second-places Sara Kramer (AUT) by 15 seconds. Local hero Alexandra Seifert took the bronze rank with a time behind of 44 seconds behind the winner, Jenny Nowak claimed the unlucky fourth position.
