The summer national championships in Norway were also held on this past weekend. In a finish line sprint in Sjusjoen, Magnus Krog emerged victorious and claimed the title of Norwegian summer national champion ahead of Mikko Kokslien (+0.0) and Thomas Kjelbotn (+0.10).

After the ski jumping part, Havard Klemetsen was in the lead with 128,5 points, followed by Thomas Kjelbotn (123,5) and Jan Schmid (123,5). During the roller-ski race, the strong skiers Krog and Kokslien managed to catch up with the leaders and decided the race in a finish line sprint which couldn't end any closer.

Magnus was happy about his performance: "I was wonderful to get such a confirmation of my training results so far. I am doing much better in the cross-country part but I still have a way to go in ski jumping. But it's still a long time until the beginning of the season and I'll use that time to be well prepared then."

On Saturday, the traditional super sprint was held in Lillehammer's city centre. Two athletes were competing directly against each other in 200-metre-sprints in downtown Lillehammer. In the final, Joergen Graabak won against Havard Klemetsen, Truls Johansen became third ahead of Magnus Krog.
