Magnus Moan back for the Lillehammer World Cup
11 Norwegian athletes will get the chance to start at their home competitions in Lillehammer this upcoming weekend as it was just announced by Skiforbundet.
„We are happy to come home to Lillehammer and Norway after a good start of the season in Kuusamo“, Sports Director Sverre Rotevatn sums up the past weekend. „We have ambitions to fight for podiums on both days now but we are also especially excited to see what the athletes behind the top group can do. Many will get to chance to start because we have of the national quota.“
Veteran Magnus Moan will also be back on the Norwegian team after sitting out the World Cup Opening because of him being sick. „I am looking forward to the season start very much and I am as ready as I can be. I have done the job before the season but I don’t have too high expectations to myself after a period of sickness now. The most important thing is to finally get going and we will draw first conclusions after this weekend’s races“, Moan said.
These athletes will get to start at Lillehammer:
Sindre Ure Soetvik
Jarl Riiber (Saturday)
Ole Martin Storlien (Sunday)
