With the season ending on the upcoming weekend in Schonach, it will also be time to reflect on the past season and decorate the athletes who were shining especially brightly in the past winter. The Nordic Combined Awards will be handed out for the second time after the successful maiden edition last year. On Sunday night, athletes, teams and service staff will gather in Schonach’s “Haus des Gastes” to honour outstanding performances. The general public is cordially invited as well.

This year’s Nordic Combined Awards will feature five categories. The nominees are:

New are also two honorary categories in which persons will be honoured for their exceptional contributions to the sport of Nordic Combined. The “Fair Play” Award will be awarded for good sportsmanship and fairness and the “Kai Arne Ringen-Award” will go to one individual, who has contributed to the development of Nordic Combined in an outstanding way.

As in the past year, the awards were supported with prizes by friendly sponsors.
