Pawel Slowiok wins Vistula Cup in Wisla

The Polish Nordic Combined athletes also had the opportunity to compete a last time on home soil before the year 2012 ended. At yesterday's "Vistula Cup" which was held on the Wisla Malinka hill and the Kubalonki cross-country track, Pawel Slowiok won in the senior category.

After claiming the second rank after the ski jumping part on the HS134 hill, Slowiok definitely set the fastest cross-country time with 26:35.0 on the 10 kilometre course and overtook Mateusz Wantulok (27:33.2) who had been starting 18 seconds ahead of him. The third rank went to Michal Pyclik who held onto his third rank after jumping with a cross-country time of 28:11.2. 

In the three junior categories which were also held, the top spots on the podiums went to Andrzej Gasienica, Kacper Kupczak and Antoni Juroszek.
