Taking place in Oberstdorf in conjunction with the Summer Grand Prix, the event always is a highlight for the boys aged 13 and 14 and the Nordic Combined Ladies aged eleven to sixteen.

On two days, 49 boys and 30 girls from 10 nations competed in a Sprint and an Individual Gundersen competition and had their respective winners ceremonies together with the athletes of the Summer Grand Prix. On the first competition day, the sprint winners were Emanuel Schmid (GER) and Jenny Nowak (GER) in the two younger age categories and Timna Moser (AUT) and Perttu Reponen (FIN) defended their titles from last year in their age groups.

Race Director Lasse Ottesen was very pleased with the developed: „I am very happy to have even more nations on start as last year. This year, we decided to have the girls compete on roller-skis as well which turned out to be very successful and hopefully a motivation to also use the roller-skis more in their day to day training. I am impressed by the level of the boys and the girls which continued to grow since last year and really looking forward to the upcoming Youth Cup competitions in the wintertime."
