Austria's Andreas Kofler, Thomas Diethart, Stefan Kraft and Michael Hayboeck were taking part in the Vienna City Marathon on Sunday, though not the full 42 km distance.

Under the eyes of the new head coach Heinz Kuttin the ski jumpers were running on the positions two and four in two different relays. Stefan Kraft needed a time of 00:25:38 for his 5.7 km, Andreas Kofler ran 11.29 km in 1:12:53. With a total time of 3:52:53 for the marathon distance their team finished on place 1139.

Michael Hayboeck ran the shortest distance (5.7 km) in his relay in 00:31:43 and could not keep up with Stefan Kraft. Thomas Diethart was better than his teammate Andreas Kofler in the fourth leg and crossed the finnish line after 01:04:45. The relay came in 1403rd with a time of 03:57:25.

After this experience, it became clear for Thomas Diethart that he will probably not change sports in the future. "At the end I almost got cramps. My muscles will be really sore. I guess I'll stick to ski jumping", the 4-Hills-Tournament winner said to the Austrian newspaper "Kronen Zeitung". Andreas Kofler has more experience on this field and enjoyed his run: "It's already my fourth time here and the atmosphere is always amazing."
