Sinkovec was already on the podium on Friday in Frenstat and with his performances there he showed that he is on the right track on his way back after a long break due to injury.

After his disappointing 17th place on day the before, local hero Jakub Janda improved his performance significantly and with 97.5 m and 105 m (243.9 points) he finished second and achieved a Top 3 result for the hosting team of the Czech Republic.

The German team had an athlete on the podium on both days in Frenstat. On Friday Danny Queck came in second, on Saturday Pius Paschke was the best German in third (99 m and 99 m; 235.8 points). Danny Queck finished ninth this time.

As so often this summer the Slovenes were the best team today with five jumpers in the Top 10. Besides the winner Jure Sinkovec, these were Ziga Mandl (4th), Andraz Pograjc (5th), Ernest Prislic (7th) and Mitja Meznar (10th).

Grzegorz Mietus was the best of the Polish team in sixth, Konstantin Sokolenko of Kazakhstan repeated his very good eighth place of Friday's competition. With Philipp Aschenwald, who shared the tenth place with Meznar, Austria was also represented in the Top 10. His teammate Markus Schiffner, the winner of the first competition in Frenstat, followed in 12th.
