The ski jumpers of Slovenia proved to be unbeatable also in the third and final Continental Cup competition in Vikersund (NOR) and took the second double victory in a row, this time with Anze Semenic and Cene Prevc. It was also their third win in a row.

"We all showed a good performance this weekend, that's very good for the team spirit. I hope that this will also be a push for the World Cup team in today's competition. My goal this season is to jump well and it would be nice to come back to Vikersund for the World Cup in March", the winner said.

With 115.5 m and 118 m, Anze Semenic showed the longest jumps in both rounds and won with 273.2 points. For the 23-year-old this was already the eighth win in the COC.

Cene Prevc, who was the best in the first two competitions this weekend, finished second behind his teammate this time with 114 m and 116.5 m and a total of 265.1 points.

After the places two and six on Friday and Saturday, local hero Tom Hilde confirmed his currently consistent and strong shape with the third place on Sunday. The 29-year-old posted jumps of 114 m and 116.5 m and scored 264.9 points.

Austria's Daniel Huber, third yesterday, finished fourth and secured a strong team result for Austria together with Florian Altenburger and Elias Tollinger, who came in sixth and seventh. The fifth place went to Sebastian Colloredo of Italy.

Behind the eighth-placed Jan Ziobro of Poland, Pius Paschke was ninth and confirmed his position as the currently best German ski jumper in the Continental Cup. The biggest improvement in the final was made by Norway's Halvor Egner Granerud. With a strong second jump he managed to move up from 23rd to tenth.

After the first three competitions of the winter, Cene Prevc leads the overall ranking of the Continental Cup with 280 points. Tom Hilde follows in second with 180 points, Anze Semenic is third (166 points).

The next two competitions will take place next weekend (December 17th and 18th) in Ruka (FIN).
