Daniel Andre Tande and Maren Lundby Norwegian ski jumping champions
The Norwegian national championships on the normal hill were held on Saturday on the Midtstubakken in Oslo.
The men's title there went to Daniel Andre Tande, who showed the by far longest jump of the day already in the first round with 109.5 m. He then secured the win with 101 m in the final and a total of 266.5 points.
Nordic combined skier Jarl Magnus Riiber once again proved that he is also a very strong ski jumper and finished second with 102 m and 103 m and 260.0 points.
Halvor Egner Granerud, who was second only 0.5 points behind Tande after his first jump on 106 m, jumped on 95.5 m in the final round. This performance earned him 253.5 points and the third place on the podium.
Robert Johansson and Fredrik Bjerkeengen tied for fourth, followed by Johann Andre Forfang (6th), Andreas Stjernen (7th) and Tom Hilde (8th). Behind Joachim Hauer (9th), world record holder Anders Fannemel completed the Top 10.
The big favorite Maren Lundby was unbeatable in the ladies' competition. With 100.5 m and 100 m and 247.5 points she took a more than clear win ahead of Silje Opseth (88.5 m and 84 m; 188.5 points) and Anniken Mork (84 m and 86 m; 179.0 points).
Sunday's team event was won by Akershus (Tom Hilde, Fredrik Eirinsoenn Villumstad, Marius Lindvik, Halvor Egner Granerud; 933.5 points) ahead of Oppland (Are Sumstad, Jesper Oedegaard, Fredrik Bjerkeengen, Robert Johansson; 925.5 points) and Oslo (Richard Ween Haukedal, Oscar Westerheim, Joachim Hauer, Jarl Magnus Riiber; 917.0 points).
