Domen Prevc and Maja Vtic Slovenian champions

Youngster Domen Prevc took the title at the Slovenian national championships on the normal hill in Kranj on Tuesday.

The 16-year-old local hero showed the best performances in both rounds and won on his home hill with jumps on 108 m and 113 m and a total of 267.8 points.

The second place went to Andraz Pograjc with 107 m and 110.5 m and 262.5 points, Ziga Jelar posted jumps on 105 m and 112 m and came in third with 258.0 points.

Miran Zupancic was fourth and missed the podium by only 0.3 points, the fifth and sixth place went to Rok Justin and Cene Prevc.

4-Hills-Tournament winner and Ski Flying World Champion Peter Prevc and most of the Slovenian World Cup team did not participate in this competition.

The ladies' title went to Maja Vtic with 107.5 m and 108.5 m and 249.3 points, one point behind the winner Ema Klinec was second with 108 m and 105.5 m. Eva Logar finished third with 234.4 points (105 m / 103 m).
