Like her teammate Daniela Iraschko-Stolz, now als the second top female jumper of Austria, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger, could start with ski jumping training again after a long break due to injury.

Despite the lack of training, Seifriedsberger, who sufferend an ACL and meniscus tear late December last year, now wants to be fit again on time for the upcoming winter season and has set the World Championships in February as her main goal.

"I was a bit nervous before my comeback at the hill because I wasn't able to jump for eight months. But this nervousness disappeared as soon as I was on the starting bar and I felt comfortable again right away. There is still a lot of work to do in this short training period until the start of the season, but I'm working very hard together with the team. I hope that I can close the gap to the top soon and, if everything goes perfectly, I'll be in my best shape again for the WSC in Falun", the 23-year-old is quoted in a release of the Austrian Ski Association.
