Kamil Stoch was named honorary ambassador of the "Athletes for Children" Foundation. Before his departure for Switzerland, the reigning World Champion from Val di Fiemme took part in a press conference, during which he donated his helmet in order to raise money in a charity auction.

"I would like to thank Mrs. Ewa Bilan-Stoch and Mr. Kamil Stoch for supporting our foundation," said Dariusz Mróz, the foundation's representative.

The "Athletes for Children" Foundation helps children and young people to participate in various kinds of sports events. The foundation has previously been supported by Polish athletes such as Przemysław Tyton, Michał Wieczorek, Marek Kolbowicz, Maria Depta, Paweł Zatorski, Bozydar Iwanow, Patryk Chojnowski, Merab Gabunia and Izabela Bełcik.

"I would like to thank the foundation for their involvement and interest," Kamil Stoch said at the introduction. "I think it's important to support such a worthy cause, because every person who sets out to achieve something deserves some help. I've personally received plenty of support from other people, and this is why I've decided to give back and help the foundation," he added.

One of the foundation's programs is called "Train with a Champion", and its goal is to inspire children and young people to lead an active lifestyle by participating in various sports activities. In order to achieve this goal, the foundation collaborates with some of the greatest athletes from both individual and team sports.

"I will find out soon what my duties as an ambassador are going to be," explained Kamil Stoch. "If fan meetings with kids are organized in the future, I will be glad to show up and participate in them," he declared. A meet-up with the World Champion from Val di Fiemme will be scheduled after the winter season.
