Lamy Chappuis and Mattel French Champions

Ronan Lamy Chappuis and Coline Mattel won the title in the individual competitions at the French National Championships on Friday in Les Rousses.

Ronan Lamy Chappuis, fourth after the first round with 76 m, jumped on 77 m in the final and took the title on the normal hill with a total of 229.2 points.

Vincent Descombes Sevoie was in the lead after the first round with the longest jump of the day on 77.5 m, but with his second jump on 76 m he came in second, 0.4 points behind Lamy Chappuis. The third place went to Nicolas Mayer with 75.5 m and 74 m (222.5 points).

The junior's ranking in this competition was won by Gabriel Karlen of Switzerland with 208.8 points, followed by Julien Faivre Rampant (206.0 points) and Jonathan Learoyd (205.3 points). 

Coline Mattel won the ladies' competition with jump on 71 m and 71.5 m (209.2 points) ahead of Julia Clair (67.5 m and 73.5 m; 202.4 points) and Lea Lemare (66.5 m and 67.5 m; 184.0 points).
